Overseas Teachers of English

Sidmouth International School is a successful teacher training centre and is actively involved in teacher development.

We offer developmental courses for overseas teachers of English delivered by our experienced teachers.

Courses for closed groups of teachers

This course is available all year round for a minimum of one week. Language and/or methodology development courses are designed to meet the specific needs of teachers.

21 hours (28 lessons) per week

15 hours (20 lessons) language development in mixed-nationality groups,(09.00-12.30, Mon - Fri, includes 30 min break)

6 hours (8 lessons) per week specialist ELT sessions to include methodology, materials etc (13.30-15.30, Tues, Wed, Fri)

Class observations and follow-up discussions can be arranged.
